Hi George!
Thank you for your
response. I am borne in 1947. I took a lesson of the accordion first at the age
of about 40 years old, without pre-education of music or music instrument. It
was in "West Germany" still that time, where I got the lesson from an senior
musician originate from Hamburg. My first accordion was a Japanese made "Tombo"
(37/96, 3 reeds). In Germany, I bought an used Hohner Lucia IV P (37/96/4
reeds), which gave me a totally different aspect of the sound. Then I got more
motivation to learn accordion playing. Later, I purchased an used Hohner Atlanta
IV N de luxe. I liked the sound of Lucia IV P more, as the Atlanta was too hard
for my ears. Back to Japan in 1985, there has been almost 10 -15 years blanc
time for accordion, as I had to concentrate to work or create businesses. Since
1997, I was working to establish my own business as the independent business
man. So, I am still busy to operate my own business, which is
importer/distributor of sign related materials mainly from Germany for the
Japanese market. Since about 2 years, I am a hobby accordion dealer, mainly
on the internet. The development of my accordion business is remarkable for me,
as I am getting so many contacts through this activity. I became the authorized
importer of Scandalli, Paolo Soprani, Bugari, Borsini, Beltuna, Lanzinger,
Weltmeister, Delicia, Brandoni among all. The Japanesse accordion market is
still very small but I meet more and more enthusiastic people and hobby
accordion players. It is really a fun to exchange the information and thoughts
related to the accordion and share the joy of playing accordion. It is a
wonderfull thing that I can even share the joy and information internationally.
Write me any time, if you feel for sharing the joy of accordion.
Best
regards,
Hiroshi Kawai |
